jQuery Resources: Articles and Tutorials for Developers

As a designer and WordPresss user I learn early on that I needed to more than just design. I found very quickly when modifying WordPress themes that you needed to know PHP and knowing a little about jQuery was also helpful. Even if you do know coding but know how to add the code and where to place in your theme is a good idea.

For the past few months, I have been interested jQery. When I first heard about jQuery I only knew that it was JavaScript library. I wanted to know what it was, how it used and how it can benefit me as a web designer. Cascading style sheets (CSS) were created to define how HTML elements will display. CSS can be implemented on the index page or as a stand alone file. In most cases, I would recommend using an external style because you can easily make changes to the style sheet by updating the code and simply replacing the file on the server. If you want a completely different look, then you can create a new style sheet and put it in place. By doing this you will have a new look but the content will stay the same.
