Have you ever notice that some websites or when you working on a blog post your text wrapping around an image and the text is right up against or overlapping the image? Ugly right? How To Use Google Web Fonts on WordPress and Other Sites

Earlier this week Google released Google Font Directory and Google Font API. Google teamed up with Typekit to create an open sourced Font project. All fonts found in the directory are available for use on any website under an open source license and are served by Google servers. Once in the directory, you can browse Google’s catalog of fonts, learn more about the font designers and get the code required to use them on your site.
Google Web fonts is compatible with the following browsers
- Google Chrome: version 4.249.4+
- Mozilla Firefox: version: 3.5+
- Apple Safari: version 3.1+
- Microsoft Internet Explorer: version 6+

Cascading style sheets (CSS) were created to define how HTML elements will display. CSS can be implemented on the index page or as a stand alone file. In most cases, I would recommend using an external style because you can easily make changes to the style sheet by updating the code and simply replacing the file on the server. As a designer and a WordPress admin I try and use every available to out there to help me in my projects. Having to know so many different programming languages, I tend to forget certain codes or what scripts to use. I find that using cheat sheets come in handy. Today’s links are for two sites with a list of different cheat sheets for different programming languages. These sheets can be downloaded in a PDF file.I found cheat sheets for CSS, PHP, and javascript but, there are many more out there. Take a look out there, you won’t be disappointed.
