Adobe makes a great line of multimedia editors, but they can be expensive. For the causal user, its even worse. Below are are some tools for everyone to use. What I like about these tools is I do not need to carry a USB portable apps to use on a public machine. There are times when I can’t use my portable apps and I have to find a free online tool to do it. With the list below, bloggers, social media users and web designers can have access to editors for free.
Windows only: Image resizing tools are a dime a dozen, but free utility Shrink Pic is actually an extremely clever original: Instead of requiring manual processing, it runs in the background and automatically resizes images whenever you attach or upload them.

What if we are on a public machine that doesn’t have the software we need, or worst, what if these public machines prevent users from installing applications? That is where web applications come in handy.
Web applications have gained much attention and popularity over the pass few years. The reasons are simple – ubiquity, convenience and light. As long as you have a web browser that connects to the Internet, you can get your photo, audio or even video edited on the fly.
