Building traffic should be on the top of any web site owners “to do” list. If it isn’t, then your site might not be successful. The only sites that might not need a traffic building strategy might be a large company that already has a large following and their fans/customers are only waiting for you to get your site up and running.

For those that do not have luxury of already being famous, you need to build traffic to make your site successful. Getting a  lot of traffic to your site isn’t easy and it isn’t cheap. The first step in building traffic is to get organic search engine traffic to your site by doing search engine optimization (SEO) on your site.

Link Building

Once you take care of the SEO part of your web site, you need to build links back to your site. To build links to your site, you need to go out to other niche related sites and start commenting, create link bait articles (content other website owners will want to link to), submitting articles to social bookmarking sites, and submitting your articles to community news sites.  – DO NOT USE SPAMMY LINK BUILDING SERVICES OR PREMIUM LINK TRAIDING/LINK PURCHASE SITES. Google and other search engines do not like these types of services and will count these against you in the rankings if they figure out you are using them.
