Google is using the Gmail window for sharing social media. Buzz shares photos, links, vidoes, status updates all in your inbox or mobile browser. So How Do I activate My Account?

Several days go, Google released Google Buzz, but there are many of you out there that may not have the buzz option available to you yet. There is one reason why your account may not be eligible to use Google Buzz. The simplest reason is you may not be sharing enough enough with Google or Google may not know what social media accounts you have out there.

After researching this issue I found that it is pretty simple to get Google Buzz setup for your account. Below is a list of things you can do to help Google See you and your accounts. In order to even think about using Buzz you need to have a an account with Google and using two of their services. I would suggest Gmail and the Google Profile

  1. The first thing you need to do is to update or create a Google Profile. Make sure to fill everything you can and make sure to add your social media sites, such as Twitter and Facebook. Twitter and FriendFriend can be fed to your profile as well. Also, add your Flickr account to the profile. If you do not have one make sure to create one. Everyone should have a Flickr account. Its a easy way to store your images free.
  2. Make sure that you have an account with Google’s Picasa.
  3. Sign up for Google Reader and some RSS feeds.
  4. Once signed into to Google Reader, click on "Your Stuff."
  5. Wait a couple of hours and check back with your gmail account. You should receive the Google Buzz activation page. Just click Yes and it will activate it.

After I have some time to use this product I will review it and give a quick and simple instructions on how to use Google Buzz.
