Studiopress News Theme 2.0
On October 4th Studiopress released News Theme 2.0. This is actually a code update/rewrite. Because of this, there isn’t an easy way to update, so if you are happy with the previous version of the theme, then there is no reason to update.

The new child theme has 6 layout options, 7 color styles, custom background, custom header, featured images, fixed width, theme options, threaded comments.
Studiopress News Theme 2.0 Genesis Tabs Plugin
The News Themes also runs Genesis Tabs plugin which was a plugin for the News 1.0 child theme.
Final Thoughts
Although I haven’t used this theme, I did check it out on the demo page and it looks great and it has a lot of features. If you are looking for a good news theme for your blog, then this theme is for you. Check it out here!
