This week’s Wordprss article is  about the layout of a wordpress theme. Last week, I wrote an article about Yoast’s Anatomy of a WordPress Cheat Sheet at WordPress Junkies and why its so important to know the layout of a WordPress theme.

Why is Knowing the Layout of a WordPress Theme Important?

It’s important to know the layout of a WordPress theme, because it makes easier to know where a certain element is inside the code of your theme. Once you know this, you can quickly make changes to the code or if you are developer, you know what every element of the a theme does and how it effects other parts of the theme.

Yoast’s cheat sheet does just that, it gives you a brief description about each part of a basic theme, and if you check out the article, he digs further into the theme and gives you even more important information that you need to know about.  Check out the article out by click on the cheat sheet. (Its not the whole cheat sheet. The Yoast’s article will have the full cheat sheet.)
