Google Plus Network has been in beta for almost a month and it looks like its here to stay. It’s getting so popular, big name probloggers are leaving Facebook to go full time with Google Plus.

Are you using Google Plus Network? If so, how much time are you spending on there? For me, I spend a good amount of time on there networking, but mostly wasting time. But I have met some great people and I am getting steady amount of traffic from Google Plus, as long as I am active.

Now that the site is active, I decided it was time to find a way to promote my Google Plus account. After some research I found several ways to do that. There are several plugins that will do it, but I found the simplest way to do it was through a site called Google Plus Statistics. They offer a simple widget that you can add to your website or blog by adding some code. You can see the widget in action on the sidebar to your right?  –>

What is Google Plus Statistics?

Google+ Statistics tracks the top 100 users on Google+. Just add yourself so they can start tracking your own Google+ statistics too. See how many people added you in their circles, your progression and where you rank in the list of popular Google+ users.”

How to Get your Google Plus Widget

To get your Google Plus Widget, copy your Google Plus Profile ID and added it to the site. Once you have added it, you can create your widget. Over the next few hours, it will compile your data so you can see how well you are doing compared to other Google Plus users.

Comments

  1. Promoting Google+ account in our own website is indeed very quick yet very effective way to connect to hundreds or thousands of other users of relative niche. I’m loving the results.

  2. I’m super confused on how to network or connect with new people on G+. Is there a primer out there?

    • If you are asking if there is an tutorial out, there are plenty of starting out tutorials. But the best way is to jump right in. Look for people that interest you. If you have followers on other social media networks that you follow, check and see if they are on there as well…
