Surrealism is a cultural movement that began in the early 1920s and features elements of surprise, unexpected objects to create a disorienting, hallucinatory dreamlike reality.
One of the most popular uses for Adobe Photoshop is Photo manipulation. One of the reasons for PhotoShop popularity is its ability to blend real images with vibrant colors and digital painting to emphasize different elements of a photo manipulation. This software is the perfect tool for creating surreal art work.

For me, I love surreal art, literature, and movies. I tend to like the more darker works, but in general I enjoy looking through the different art sites looking all the great works. Today, I decided to share with you some of my favorite surreal works found on DeviantArt. If you want know if the image you are looking at is surreal, if its dark surreal, then try looking at before you go to bad. If you can’t sleep or gives you the creeps, then its probably surreal.
