Hi guys, its that time again for our weekly texture series. This week I was looking through some textures over at DeviantArt, I found some water textures that I wanted to share with everyone. These are just a few of the great liquid textures you can find on DeviantArt. Before using them make sure to check the designer’s rules of use, they are all have creative commons licenses, but some have rules you have to follow when using their work.
1. Water Texture
This water texture is 1280 x 960 pixels.
2. ManaXmomo – Water blue
This water texture is 970 x 733 pixels.
3. Rain
This rain texture 3072 x 2304 pixels.
4. VS Tema
This running water texture is 1613 x 1181 pixels
5. Water Drops 003
Water Drops texture is 1600 x 1200 pixels in size.

Ooo I never thought about getting textures there. Can you buy a license to use them? I have the hardest time finding background textures for the websites I do that I like.
Generally with these textures they are creative commons and you just need to read their rules they set for their textures and images. Most of the time they just want a link credit back to their work and comment with a link on their profile so they can see how you used their textures and images. If you are uncertain about how you can use their images or they do not allow others to use their images and textures outside of DeviantArt just send them a private message and ask. A lot of times the artist on DeviantArt will let use their work if you ask nicely.
That is good to know. I would be willing to pay for good images.
