Author hReview WordPress Plugin<\/h2>\n

The plugin that will help you build your review articles is the Author hReview Plugin by Hesham Zebiba. He originally created the plugin as a Thesis<\/a> Only Plugin but had a change of heart. He made so everyone can use it. All you have to do is have a self hosted WordPress blog and its yours.<\/p>\n

How Does Author hReview WordPress plugin Work?<\/h3>\n

If you been keeping up with with Google and SEO you will know that Rich Snippets is recommended by Google as another helpful way for Google to find your site and articles. Author hReview<\/a> makes it easy for you by adding the rich snippets to your article. It creates review data in your article that will be picked up by the search engines. Basically Rich Snippets gives searchers a convenient summary about their search results at a glance. I am sure you have seen these results in the past. But here is a short video that can explain it better and easier than I can.<\/p>\n

Why is Rich Snippets So Important?<\/h3>\n

Adding rich snippets to your content in the search results help your content stand out in a crowd. Are you more likely to click on a link that stands out from the rest of the links or pick one that looks the rest of the links in the results?<\/p>\n

How To Install, Configure, and use Author hReview<\/h2>\n

To install Author hReview, all you need to do is open your admin panel, navigate to the add plugin section and search for the plugin. In the search field enter Author hReview<\/a> and click search. Once you have finished the search, install the plugin and activate.<\/p>\n

How to Configure Author hReview<\/h3>\n

To configure Author hReview, click on settings and select review. After clicking the review link, you will be able to configure the plugin. \"How<\/p>\n

If you use the mini rating box it will be small rating box with limited information. Otherwise, whatever review info you add to the review plugin will go in that box.<\/p>\n

How to Use Author hReview<\/h3>\n

Author hReview is easy to use. At the end of the article, there will be a meta box you will need to fill out. Once you fill it, it will then show up on your article and in the search results. Make sure to treat this section like an SEO meta information. Keywords and wording is very important here. The right keywords and description will help a user find your page. \"hReview-meta\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This is a great plugin and I love it. It makes easy to add the review rich snippets to your reviews. Even though I had some issues (not the plugins fault, had a very old dead plugin breaking things) with the plugin during the install, Hesham got it working very quickly. I also added the plugin to one my StudioPress sites and will be adding the plugin to a few others when I have the the time.<\/p>\n

Edit<\/strong> – Please note, the theme currently installed on Evolutionary Designs has a design flaw that will not allow the Author hReview CSS to run. Hesham has looked into the issue and can not see why it will not load the CSS for the plugin. I have had issues with other plugins and custom changes to the CSS and those changes wouldn’t load either. The CSS is an issue with the Mystique<\/abbr> Theme and not with the plugin.
