Now that Google Plus Network is one of the more popular social media networks, its time to shut down those annoying email notifications. If you are like me, you spend a lot of time on there. If that\u2019s the case, then you are engaging with those in your circles and those that you are following. <\/p>\n

One of the main ways to engage with others on Google Plus Network is to comment on user statuses. If you make a lot of comments or you comment on users that get a lot of comments, it can easily overwhelm your inbox. You might even miss a few important emails because of all those junk comment emails. So its best to eliminate or reduce the amount of emails you get from Google Plus.<\/p>\n

There are several ways to get rid of your Google Plus email notifications. One is to opt out of the notifications from the Google Plus Settings the second way would be to use your Gmail account to filter out those notifications and send them to folder so can look through them later. <\/p>\n

But today, I want to show you how easy it to opt out of the Google Plus notifications. <\/p>\n

How to Opt out of Google Plus Email Notifications<\/h2>\n

First, click on the gear icon in the top left corner. Then click on Google + settings. Next scroll down to the section called Receive Notification. In this section, uncheck any check boxes you do not want to be notified about. Then save it. Once saved, you shouldn\u2019t receive any updates. <\/p>\n

Google Plus is a great social network and as it gets more popular, people will write how-tos or even charge money for them to teach them how to use the social network. When I had several people ask me how to stop all the statuses they were getting from Google Plus, I did a quick check (about 2 weeks) and found several tutorials that combined how to opt out of email notifications but not one of those articles had screen shots or were written as a lone article.
