\"plus-google\"<\/a> So it looks as if Google had more in mind than just adding the Google +1 voting system. Now that the Google +1 button is out and websites are adding the new buttons to their sites and articles, Google goes and creates the Google Plus social network<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To setup your account, all you need is an invite from one of your friends already using the service, this if you do not already have access to the Google Plus Network.<\/p>\n

The social network made it easy to\u00a0 find your friends, work colleagues, and family\u00a0 by using your Gmail account. Then it lists all your contacts on one page. Select the ones you want to add to your plus network by clicking on their profile image and dragging it to one of your circles. Your circles include, family, friends, following, acquaintances, and work related. If these circles aren\u2019t enough you can create your own\u2026<\/p>\n

If you like to use social media on your cell phone, they now offer a mobile app for your phone.<\/p>\n

Final Thoughts<\/h2>\n

Although I have only been using the Google Plus Network, I am not all that impressed with the service. But I do see potential with the network. The network is still in its early stages. As with any new social network, it takes time, research, and users willing and wanting to help the creators of a social network to keep making it better.<\/p>\n

Pros<\/h3>\n

  • What I like about the network is it make easy to find your contacts.<\/li>\n
  • Starts out with a way separate friends, family and business contacts by creating social circles.<\/li>\n
  • Adds all of your Google social tools in one place.<\/li>\n
  • What features there are, are great and I can’t wait to use them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Cons<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Not very many features<\/li>\n
    • The features they do have, are Google related<\/li>\n
    • Haven\u2019t figured out a way to add contacts from Facebook, Twitter, and other networks. I do not connect with most of social friends via email, only through those networks.<\/li>\n
    • Does not have dedicated domains like Facebook or LinkedIn<\/li>\n
    • Limited network. Network still closed and their only limited number invites you can send out. But I don’t have to give out yet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      As mentioned before, I see the potential and look forward to Google making this a great social network. As with any new social network and I plan to test and use it over the next few weeks and see how well I like it. If its a keeper, I will write up a review and recommendation. So far their aren’t that many people\u00a0 on here and its still closed to the public from I have found.<\/p>\n
