Today I decided I want to add a floating Twitter Follow Me badge on the right side of the blog wall. After some research, I found that it is pretty simple to add the badge to your website, if you are using a WordPress<\/a> self hosted site. All you have to do is go the Twitter \u201cFollow\u201d Badge for Site<\/a>. Once there, just fill out the following fields and generate the code. Then you\u2019re ready to add your code to your blog.<\/p>\n

Configuration<\/h1>\n
    \n
  1. Add your Twitter username.<\/li>\n
  2. Change the label using the drop down label. Your options are; \u2018Follow Me\u2019, \u2018Follow Us\u2019, \u2018Follow\u2019 and \u2018My twitter\u2019.<\/li>\n
  3. Select your color for the badge. Select a color that goes with your color scheme on your site.<\/li>\n
  4. Choose what side you want the badge to be on.<\/li>\n
  5. Set your height. The default is 136 pixels from the top.<\/li>\n
  6. Click update code button.<\/li>\n
  7. All that is left is to add your code to your template.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Implementation<\/h2>\n

    1. Click on appearance<\/li>\n
    2. select editor<\/li>\n
    3. Select the file footer.php<\/li>\n
    4. Look for the <\/body> tag. Right before the tag copy your code into the editor.<\/li>\n
    5. If you or any of you users use IE6, the badge will not appear in this browser.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
