What is Creative Commons and How Does it Work?...

What is creative commons, and who are they? How will this help and others with their creative works? Creative Commons is a way to reserve creative works rights, but share with others....

Best detailed explanation of CC I have seen to date!
If I may add, there is an image protection service called PicScout that has an add-on for Firefox browser that provides access to the registered images' licensing information. The info travels with the image. I am a Beta Tester for this add-on and you can read my post on it at http://jimijones.com/image-protection/. It is a pretty handy tool. If you are using Firefox you may want to check it out.
